Oh yeah, THAT makes sense. "We screwed up by not suspending Richards, so we'll just screw up AGAIN and not suspend Cooke. But next time...yeah, THAT'S when it will be different."

Really, bad "logic".

Maybe Campbell needs to be outta there.

One thing they said on XM was that unlike Richards, Cooke is a repeat offender and could have used that as a defense for handing Cooke a suspension. Regardless, next year things will be different.

It happens next year then repeat offenders get stiffer penalties.
Savard may be out for the rest of the season.
If the Bruins play the Pens again, I'd look for some payback.

Campbell has sucked for a long time.....he is a politician more than a disciplinarian........some B fans should start a bounty pool on Clarkes head.

HeatMiser: Pens play the Bruins Thursday March 18th in Boston.

Richards/Cooke both should have been suspended. Cooke laid out Anisimov of the Rangers with a very similar hit earlier this season and got 2 games for it. Very surprised he didn't get suspended this time around.
