Actually, it looks like most sections are getting pretty drastic cuts. Plus, no 400 level anymore?!

my rep wrote back to me and explained if you had a season ticket in the 400s that it would be moved to the 300s on either side of the 400s.......he said a detailed explanation woul be in the renewal packet.

I'll tell you what I'm suprised by, Dez's $99 seat is being honored again for this upcoming season. That was the best $100 spent ever.

Detailed explanation my ass. The only "explanation" was that I had no seat locations on my invoice and there was no 400 level on the price list. I e-mailed my rep voicing my displeasure but have not heard back. I don't see how limiting inexpensive seats does anything to boost attendance. The 400 level was nearly full tonight even though it was well short of a sellout.

I know where you're coming from, but I bet it's one of two things. Either it's 1. They want to open up all of the $10 seats so that more walk-ups and ticketmaster customers can purchase them. It's a lot easier to persuade people to buy tickets when they're $10 rather than $30. or 2. They're doing away with $10 seats so that the average price per ticket would go up like they said they were going to a couple of seasons ago.

They will only open 400 level for sell-outs and playoffs. Two things that we have not had here in a LONG time.

Who gives a shit if you have to move down to the 300s on the ends for your $10 seats? I mean really, find something else to waste your energy on. They are better seats for the money, anyway.

We have sat in 413 for the last couple of years and this really doesn't bother any of the folks in my group. If you can't sell out the lower seats, why not move some folks down for the same price that they are paying?

It isn't like they are eliminating $10 seats - they just moved the location closer to the ice. Still a fucking great deal if you ask me.

Yeah, if I was in 413 I would not be complaining at all. For you that is a straight upgrade if you can get into 313. My seats are in 411 right on the red line. Any way you slice it, moving to a corner is a downgrade. That also assumes they can move all of the 400 level STHs into those 4 corner sections. I expect some will be stuck behind the net.I don't have the numbers but looking at the seating chart I can't help but think that there will be fewer $10 seats next season.
