Thrashers release iPhone App

The Atlanta Thrashers’ 24/7 application for the iPhone and iPod Touch is now ready for fan downloading at the Apple App Store.

Thrasher fans can get video, images, commentary, promotions, and links, including access to Thrashers TV content. All content is available through a cell carrier or Wi-Fi network connection to a fan’s
smartphone. The product gives fans access to roster updates, real-time
statistics, and “inside the locker room” information. Users can also
access the Thrashers Twitter feed, live in-game chats and other
information.

It will be followed by applications for BlackBerry and other smartphone platforms in the future.
