Atlanta's Nasty Nest

It seems like rising prices and a sinking economy (and all the other crap us Thrashers fans have had to put up with over the last few years) have scattered us all over the arena.  So, with the Thrashers cutting season ticket prices next year, surprisingly drastically for some seats, and relocating all the 400ers, where are you planning on sitting next year?

Season ticket holder since the beginning, but I'm not re-upping unless Anderson's fired. I mean, what's the point?

Besides, I've got a friend in the Fan Club who's gotten 2 seats in the 200's for FREE, to at least 7 or 8 games this season. That's getting close to a half-season pkg, and those cost us mere mortals $1500.

I'll pick and choose the games I want to see. Buy them for $15 and sit where I can sneak in, like folks have been doing in my section all season.

41 reg season games + 3 preseason games = 44 games X 2 seats = 88games

2 seats X 8 games = 16 games

16/88= 18% Not quite 1/2 there Sam. :)

I have to say the Thrashers handled this whole closing the 400 level situation well by me. They gave me 311 row R for the same $10 price which makes it a straight upgrade and very nice.

Sounds like maybe they are making some adjustments to their original plan of moving everyone to the corners. I'm still waiting to hear where they put me so we'll see how that goes. I definitely am not thrilled about moving away from center ice so it would be awesome if they'd "grandfather" us in and open up rows at the top of 310/311 for $10 renewals even if they don't open them up for new season ticket holders or single games at that price.

According to my rep, lots of people in 410 and 411 complained loudly about getting bounced to a corner so they are allowing current 400 level STH's to move to the last few rows of 310 or 311 based on availability. I was also not thrilled about moving to a corner so this ensured my renewal at least for 2010-11. We'll see how long they can keep those seats at $10.
