Atlanta's Nasty Nest

Some are likely wondering why I decided to move the Nasty Nest website to the Ning platform. The main one was financial - I was paying far too much in hosting fees, and wasn't getting enough donations nor ad revenues to keep me out of the red.

Secondly, I wanted to add some functionality to make it more of a Social Networking site, and that was proving problematic as I'm not exactly a programmer. So I started looking for ways to do that without killing me, and that's how I found Ning.

Yeah, it isn't perfect, but there are a ton of features (like this built in blogging tool) that should make for a more compelling site.

I hope you like it - but if not, well, "You Suck!"

Actually another site I visit, "Meet the Phlockers" is hosted on the ning platform, so I like it just fine. (And your reasoning is COMPLETELY understandable .. We gotta save up our $$$ for tickets, beer and wings, right?)

Now that I finally figured out how to add a picture or two to my page, nobody can accuse me of being a slacker! Speaking of slackers, where are those Brew at the Zoo pictures you took, Bilsen? They were pretty f'ing funny...

Don't worry, I still have options for April Fools day...

TKS for the work in the past on the original site, Bilsen. Does this mean no more "April Fool's Day" prank pages?

Oh, and just in case you're wondering, those google ads come from ning.com - I can zap them for $24.95 a month, but I'm just gonna pay to get the URL pointing here, and leave it at that, for now.
