Nasty Nest Tailgate Parties
The Nasty Nest wouldn't be the same without our kick-ass tailgate parties. We tailgate enmass before every weekend home game, as well as major holidays.
Where do you guys tailgate?
We gather in "The Gulch" which is the sunken lot just to the east of Philips and south of the CNN Parking Deck. The Falcons have a map that will be useful.
"The Gulch" is also known as "Lot A", and is highlighted in red on the map. Parking is usually $8.00, but it does tend to increase if there is another event in the area.
We strongly encourage you to check the nest forums for any last minute updates on a specific tailgate party.

When do you guys start tailgating?
We tailgate before every weekend home game! For 7PM games, we start at 3PM. For 3:00 games, we'll start at 11AM. For 5PM games, we'll start at 1PM. We also will likely tailgate before the Home Opener on Friday October 10th, as well as the day after Thanksgiving. (11/28)
What will you'll have at a tailgate? What can I bring?
Stan is our beer meister, and he picks up a keg for us - IF you plan to drink from that keg, plan to cough up *at least* $5.00. We will usually have music as Monkey or Billsen will bring a generator and stereo stuff, so if you have an iPod and have kick-ass songs (I.E. Not Celine Dion or similar slop), we'll play it. Captain Jaeger brings his beer pong/flippy cup table, Billsen has his Cornhole game, and street hockey is usually going on, so bring a stick if you want to play - kids are welcome to play, but if they get hurt, it is their own damn fault! NO lawsuits!
Also, bring food to share, tables, more beer, wine, sodas, ice, grills, etc. You don't have to bring all of that, but try to bring something. Free loaders tend to get the evil-eye...
When do the tailgates end?
We generally start breaking things down around an hour before the game, but if there is a big giveaway (like bobbleheads) we might be inclined to wrap up earlier. Often people crank things back up after the game.
What about crappy weather?
If it is bitterly cold, hopefully someone will bring a propane heater. If it is pissing down rain, there is a bit of cover under the Centenial Park Drive Overpass, but we can't be certain we'll be able to snag it.
Do I have to be an active member of this site to come? Can I bring newbies?
While we hope that you'll be active on our message boards, it isn't required. Newbies are also welcome, as long as they're not jerks. Hot women with loose morals are encouraged to show up...
